Course Overview
Congratulations, you have entered an education that will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to handle workplace grudges. This course will guide you through every stage of conflict resolution, from understanding difference and tension within a team or Organisation, to dealing with the contributing factors of such tension and engage in techniques to assist your team in minimising or avoiding this type of conflict in the future.
Having worked with Businesses all over Adelaide and Australia for many years, I have seen disputes eat away at productivity, morale and see good people walk away from businesses all too often. But I have also witnessed the incredible change that happens when teams learn to address differences constructively.
This is a skills based, experiential mediation training. Instead of theory, we will be exploring real life scenarios that you are likely to come across in your office. You'll walk away with a set of tested tactics you can use straight away as well as the confidence to have those tough conversations that everyone has been putting off.

What You Will Learn
Module 1: Working with Conflict Learn to distinguish between constructive disagreement and damaging conflict. We will delve in to some of the biggest offenders in Australian workplaces and how cultural influences, generational divides and communication styles are aspects that cause tension in the workplace.

Module 5: Navigating Difficult Conversations Gain confidence to discuss tough subjects with ease and professionalism. Learn practice scripts for common situations, how to give feedback people can hear, and how to deliver negative feedback while keeping relationships intact.
Lesson 6: How to Build Teams that Thrive in Conflict Build a corporate culture that has value laden disagreements. Discover how to create guidelines for your team, set feedback systems in place and also create communication protocols so issues don't develop into crises.
Module 7: Follow up and Immediation Make sure agreements stick with the right kind of follow up and adaptation. Learn how to set up accountability systems, how to schedule check ins, and how to modify agreements when life shifts.
